Thank you for taking the time to find me on the internet. I appreciate the opportunity to serve the community of San Marcos for the last few years and hope to continue for another term. I have worked hard to move forward with development while preserving the small town community we all enjoy.
What a difference four years has made. Our city has seen dreams come true and is experiencing record setting growth along with the rest of the I-35 corridor. By focusing on government reform, increased involvement of Texas State and the citizens of San Marcos in their City's affairs, and prudent partnerships with regional and state agencies and private organizations, we have continued to keep San Marcos near the top of the record growth our area is experiencing.
It is a great privilege and a true honor to be your Mayor. It has been rewarding to serve with all of my colleagues, both past and present, whom I have learned so much from and respect immensely. The present time in the life of our city is changing, exciting and will be challenging. All signs of forward progress, all reflecting the importance of choosing our destiny, shaping our future. We have worked hard to open doors, create dialogue, enhance performance and accountability, increase trust and confidence in your elected officials. We have reformed, engaged and made great progress together. I am proud of my record of service to the citizens of San Marcos. I am hopeful about our future and I am certain that my purpose is being fulfilled.
This is a time like none other. This is a time full of momentum. This is a time to continue Forward Progress and to seek a Higher Purpose.
